Make Poverty History Campaign Gears up for 2006/2007
One year after the Live 8 concerts, the world is still watching and waiting for G8 leaders to live up to their commitments to help end global poverty. But events continue in Canada and around the world through the Global Campaign for Action against Poverty.

Upcoming events in Saskatchewan
Around the world, Make Poverty History month will take place from September 16 to October 17, 2006. In Saskatchewan, the Saskatoon Make Poverty History Coalition will kick things off with "Community Organizing to Make Poverty History," a public workshop for anti-poverty activists, and the month will wrap up with anti-poverty week events from October 15 to 18 across the province. Look for event details coming soon.

Resources for Teachers
Over the past several months most students have
heard of the Make Poverty History Campaign. From rock star endorsers
like Bono and the Barenaked Ladies to individuals around the world
who choose to wear the campaign's white wristband, people have been
speaking out.
